In your opinion, what is the best place to go to meet people for dating?

In a nutshell, I have attempted meeting women thru on-line dating sites, with no really good experiences to speak of. I am a decent guy, with lots to offer, but no one to share my time with. So can someone tell me where to consider meeting good people who want to meet other good people for dating. For the record, I am 43, in good shape, used to play music semi-professionally but nowadays it is a hobby. I have a real job, real car, and a "want", not a "need" to meet single people. Looking forward to anyone's thought and ideas how to improve the dating life. Thanks

well college is the best place to meet chicks, but i dont think that will work the best for you. u know what would be really cool? go play a gig in some random bar with alot of girls in there. if you are good and you put on a good show, you will get alot of ladies interested. good luck playa
