We just moved from Connecticut to South Central Texas, near San Antonio..how can we meet some other couples with kids, normal people for us to get to know? Any good ideas, we are not exactly social butterflies, and having 2 small children kind of limits our ability to go out.
How can we meet some normal people in our new town.?
Go to the park with the children! Sit beside another mom, and start talking, you already have children in common... Go to the library on the summer school break, again with the children, and other mommys will be there with their kids, talk to the mommys. Moms are always talking about their children, but its a start, tell her that you just moved here, and are looking for play groups for your children, moms love to help.
