How to meet people in durham??

ive just moved over here from tenerife and dont know anyone lol, help .... lol :) joined a gym, started cellege, got a job,... just dont really know what kind of places to go to meet people, help please hehe xxx

How to meet people in durham??
Go to the ice rink down by the river,it was owned by the Smith family,it is unique in that it is the only rink in the country that generated most of its own power using a waterwheel generator in the river.The bar can be very social.there is lots to do round durham,you can,t go wrong.
Reply:best way is to go places you like to go to, because the logic is, if you like something the other person also likes it, hence a mutual ground to start from .
Reply:You have to make an effort to talk to people. Invite the neighbours over for a weekend dinner and meet them and through them meet others. Get involved in church activitites and meet people. Smile a little more, dont keep a grumpy face.
