- the coffee shops around Commericial Drive are a good place to hang around and meet locals, ditto for the Davie St village (gay ghetto)..

I'm planning to move to vancouver in october, so if you find any other websites then i'd be interested in checking them out also. Or u can just hang out in vancouver in coffee shops or lounges and meet people that way.





And to the previous answerer: I immigrated to Canada and I found many opportunities here. It's a beautiful country which has a lot to offer and it is the people's choice to take it or not. If you believe in urself u can accomplish anything u want, it depends on the kind of willpower u have and the person u are not the country u live in. Also, I think that Canada is the ONLY country that offers the possibility to start ur own business with such ease.
