Where in New York City can I meet British people?
I'd love to make new frineds from England. Where could I go? I am sure there are places in NYC where one can meet people from UK. I love English accent and I think it would be fun to meet new friends. Please let me know. Thanks

People love my sister but then they meet me, hate her, and love me insted. how do i change that?
people would meet ,my sister and think she is cool and all. but then they meet me and they start to hate her and think im awsome. i dont want my sister to be thought of like that. i want to change it. but i dont kno how to do that without them hating me. any ideas??

I really dont get why these people think they have to hate someone just because they like you more. It is possible to be friends with the both of you. These people are very shallow and are not really friends to anyone. If they treat her that way eventually they will treat you that way too when someone more "awesome" comes along. I hope you dont waste your time with these shallow idiots.
Real friends dont treat people like that. Get rid of them and stick with your sister. And when a good friend comes along you and your sister can share that friend.
Reply:you need to talk to these people and tell them how you really feel and think. tell them how you think your sister shouldnt be excluded. mabey ask your friends and your sister if you could all do somthing together s onobody gets left out. if you do that try not to draw too much attention to yourself and give some respect to your sister.mabey when you , your friends and your sister are together mention some ood or cool things your sister has done in the past or mention funny times that will make everyone smile. All you have to do is either tell them how you feel or include her in a lot of thing. I really hope this help. oh and i head your sister ran away, i hope she comes home soon i am praying for her you and your family

It's a function of the personality she expresses, not of you. Unless, of course, you are doing something to encourage them to hate her in order to steal away their friendship from her for yourself, in which case that would be pretty effin' twisted, evil and wrong. Only you know the answer.
Reply:when they start lovin you, The only way is to break their heart. Difficult situation, but you have to stand up for your sis and tell them that she is cool and tell them you dont want to be with them. Use some force to get your point across.

i no people like to meet after speeking on the internet for a while but why do they meet why cant they just be friends?

Real people are so messy, so RANDOM! Virtual is much better.

Thats what i believe to be true. we like to sometimes jump out of our own skin and become a person totally different to ourselves. ^.^

As you can't see what someone looks like you have to judge them on their opinions and what they say or ask.
Some people I talk to regularly in chat rooms or via E-mail are a lot younger than me and in 'real' life I would rarely meet and what teenager would want to be seen talking to someone old enough to be their gran! On the net a common interest like fish or dogs soon leads to other subjects and it is surprising how the friendship develops, and then differences in age etc becomes irrelevant. We don't need to meet face to face to be just friends.
I think some people want to meet because they are looking for more than friendship and if it works for them, Good Luck to them.
All I would say is that younger people should remember never go to meet an 'internet' friend alone. You could easily be being misled and put yourself in danger!

Other then that, I have met like 2 people from the internet. Both turned out to be a really bad expierence for me. Once was a complete douchebag... The other one is like Fly, he just won't leave me alone. That is my dating expierence from the internet. I haven't really went online looking for friends to hang out with in real life. I have enough of those.

We just clicked so perfectly that the only option was for us to meet. It was beyond just wanting to meet, it was we NEEDED to meet. Once we did, fate took over. We were married 7 months later. Neither of us could've been satisfied with just a friendship.
