When I started a Myspace profile a while ago, I was thinking that it would be a good way to make some new friends across the net, but apparently not too many people are interested in meeting new people, they just use it to socialize with friends they already have. There are some that add people they don't already know, but they have no intention of actually getting to know them. Why would I make a Myspace page to socialize with friends I could just meet in person or call-up? I was under the impression it was to make friends in a cyber-network community. At least thats what I was interested in. I'll probably end up just canceling my account, but what do you guys think???

yeah i canceled mine its not for making friends its for showing people you have no life but myspace
Reply:I think it's personal and it's used in lots of different ways.
Just depends on the person and why they created their accounts.
Reply:I use it to talk to people from school or old friends Im not a big fan of meeting people off the internet.
