Find a club, class, or activity that you're interested in for its own sake. You'll meet people there that at least have that in common with you. Much better than just having a liking for alcohol in common.





I first met my wife when I flamed her in a newsgroup. :)
Reply:maybe you need to find more things that YOU'RE interested in, take part...and it'll just come to you. if you focus on you, you'll attract others.
Reply:Well, I met my husband through the internet... I dont recommend this method for everyone, but it is a good way to get to know people when you cant or dont go out much... : )

Reply:You must make contacts somewhere. Through friends, internet, church, clubs, parks, school, anyplace you can meet people.
