World travelers are out there now traveling.Turn off your computer, pack a bag and go and join them.Evil Ned is absolutely correct about hostels.You can often find them there.There are also some very good, active travelers message boards, with good knowledgeable travel information but they are for serious travelers who would rather their websites not be known to the general public and I would be reluctant to share that info here as these boards are already polluted with so many pretenders it is near the point of being almost useless for obtaining any kind of credible information.I wouldn't want to see that happen on any of the other sites I use. Conversely,there are a handful of posters here who have "really" traveled but unfortunately they don't post that often.On the other hand there are an inordinate number of posters who have never been beyond the gringo trail yet offer information from wikipedia as credible proof they have traveled somewhere other than an all-inclusive hotel in Cancun or Cabo. Should I mention all the 13 year old school kids that have moved from "homework help" to the "travel" boards to get the 'point grubbing' adults to do their homework assignments for them while they play video games or text their peeps...actually I can't blame the kids,it's the adults that that are at fault. Too bad so sad and all just my humble opinion. juan23
