Where can I meet gay people? I live in gay capital?

I'm in Brighton UK, gay capital of UK. Where can I go to meet gay people? is there LGBT groups in UK or just america? i havent got any gay freind so i be going alone to places, is that okay?

Reply:there is nothin wrong with going out on your own. Yes it would be nice to meet people, but theres nothing wrong with exploring the city and hitting up clubs/bars/nightlife alone.





I am not from the UK but, u can always frequent the gay clubs/bars/nightlife and try to make friends.

Reply:I can't speak for the UK since only my ancestors are from there, but here in good ol' Central Florida, there's lots of places to meet gay, lesbian, and bi-sexual people!!!

Reply:If you aren't old enough for the clubs, check for coffee shops and bookstores where LGBT people gather. Also, check for a LGBT periodical that lists some activities, shows, films, etc. There are places to go to meet gay people. You just need to find one and she can help you find others!

Reply:If you're too "young" to go into a bar (in Britain? If you can see over the counter you're old enough usually) there are several LGBT teen groups in Brighton. Pick one or two, and hit a meeting.





Don't be afraid to introduce yourself to at least three people, and learn their names. Ask them questions about themselves. People love talking about their favorite topic.
