What are some great ways to meet people when your're busy busy busy?

I am a single mom, and full time online student-- my college doesnt offer child care for under 3 (sooooo lame). My son will be 3 in less than a year, so when I take classes in the spring, it will be a lot easier to meet people.





Anyways, I feel isolated all the time, and I am interested in finding ways to meet people-- either for dating or just friends, both male and female.... what are some good organizasitons-- dating service i guess, or volunteer... some clubs or groups that i could join. also, what volunteer groups are child friendly?





I tried moms club, but I found it to be *yawn* boring....

Just be talkative where ever u go, u dont really have to put ursself out there in clubs or dating thingies to find interesting ppl, they are all over the place just TALK! -G-LUCK

Reply:well half the time your busy you have work and work usualy has days off on your days off take the money you make from work and call a siter(if you have kids)then go to a club bar or chat at work and go on chatlines etc

Reply:I found my husband online, first time, fell in love and got married 3 months later, now 4 years later with a beautiful girl and happier than ever. I believe online dating is probably the way to go, make sure you come across classy, you will atract that which you give out.
Reply:I would see if there is a babysitting co-op in your town- so then you get time on your own, your child will make some friends and you might like one or two of the mothers. It is different than a mom's group.
