I want to meet people?

As a new comer form Taiwan, I really want to make a new start to meet people and make friends, but how ?

I want to meet people?
SOMER is on the right track. Find events, clubs, etc. in your area that you might enjoy and attend. For instance, if you really like photography (or even if you just want to learn about it) and there's a local photography club, attend one of their meetings.





Talk to people but don't be too pushy. Be friendly and make it known through your body language that you're open for new friends.





You're going to find people that you like and have things in common with when you're doing things that you like to do. If you don't like bars but you go there to meet people, odds are you may not enjoy the people there. Go places and do things that you think are fun and interesting, that's where all of your potential friends are.





Good luck and most of all, remember to enjoy all of your new experiences! Don't just focus on the goal of meeting people, remember to live in the moment and enjoy what you're doing, regardless of whether or not you make any new friends.
