how do people get to know one another? I am in a place where I don't know anyone and i am pretty shy by nature.
I have a lot of issues i am dealing with right now and need someone to talk to. How can I meet someone to talk to?No one would want to start off a friendship listening to personal issues. Doesn't it all have to start out with being impressed with someone?

Church groups are good, alot of people who go there are shy by nature, and are friendly and compassionate by nature.
Reply:just grab ahold of your cohones (balls for all the non-Spanish speaking people out there) for some confidence and say hi to someone, preferably a opposite sex type person if you know what I mean.
