How do i meet new people?

it's the summer before i go off to college and i don't really have a whole lot of people from high school that i have to hang out with. so i do meet new people?

How do i meet new people?
Well, to meet people who are like you, go to social events or anywhere you like to hang out at. do things you like. but if you want to meet people who are different go do things you dont know much about or dont do very often(if you have even done it at all.) If you are a shy person i suggest you do things youre most comfortable with but if you are daring i would go out and try new things(but not anything that you might regret in the future.) good luck in college!!!

Reply:Finding friends, especially in college is very natural. You and thousands of freshman are thrust into dorms and most don't know anyone else there. Orientation is always a good way to meet people because it is only freshman and a person can sit with someone he or she doesn't know without it being odd. Even if you don't meet anyone during Orientation you still have all of your starting classes with people of similar majors that tend to be too large to notice people talking in the sides of the lecture hall. Long story short, don't worry about it, be friendly and outgoing and you'll be fine.
