How do i meet people, im so lonely?

Live near the country and i have no job and no girlfriend. Its been so long since ive been with someone. I cant take it anymore. How and where do i meet people? My self esteem is gettin lower as time goes on

Get a job. Go to your city's out door events- such as the weekly Thursday Night Market Festival, for example.


Talk to someone who seems interested in conversing (or might be interested in conversing) at restuarants while waiting for a table, and at bus stops while waiting for a bus.


The possibilities must be endless, so just get out of your house, once and awhile. You could even go to a karaoke bar or some other kind of karaoke establishment. If the cashier at the market says you look familiar and wants to converse a little, do it.
Reply:well clam you just need to get out and about, find what social events are on near you, go to the local pub and start talking to people!

Reply:awww im really sorry you feel that way. maybe get involved go to a gym (if there's any near you), go to the libary, go to a club, just think to yourself, oh what the heck ill probably never see these people again and act like yourself. there's no point worrying about what they think, because if they dont like you, sod them at least you know you are a good person to get to know and they havent looked deep enough to find the real you. but im telling you, people arent out to get you, they actually want to hear what you want to say - its just probably a million times worse in your head.

Have you been trying to get a job? A job will help. It is sad that there are so many lonely people out there and no doubt the internet will help.
