Im 13 and live in nyc and stuck at home for summer i have nothing to do but sit on the computer...i need a way to get out and meet more people, where and/or how.
I want to meet more people, Im 13 and stuck in my house?
call up people from your school or old friends you knew in the past and ask them if they are busy and want to go to a movie cause all your friends are on vacation. hang out with your cousins and their friends and eventually they will be your friends too. or make new ones, do something new...sitting in doors you will meet no one. join a free karate class or tennis team lol ..... get a job walking dogs and talk to your neighbors. if you already have at least one friend , go out with them and ask them to bring along any other friends they have because you want to do paintballing or something

Reply:go to the near by park sleepover someones house if you can!! or call up some ppl and pick a spot to meet.
Reply:Do you have any friends you can call? If so, set something up with one of them. Do you have any neighbors your age? Go meet someone new. If all else fails, ask your parents if you could do a fun family activity. Maybe you will meet someone at the pool or at a movie. The most important thing is to get out there and try!! Who knows when you'll find a friend?
Reply:find your friends and go to the mall , find your local ymca and go swimming find your local camp or daycare and ask if you can help or bag food at your supermarket sounds corny but you meet alot of ppl that way just pls what ever you do dont meet anyone online nad stay away from online chat lines and stuff like that ppl are weird and alot of them you cant trust next year try and get everybodys number before the year is out

Reply:Get out with your friends! I know how you feel, I am stuck too, but I have been having a great summer because I have hanging out with them. I also met my friends cousins from Ireland!
