I just moved to a new town and I don't know anybody besides for the 2 people my Husband knows from here already. He says I could make friends at work but the people I work with have kids that are my age. Since I'm not taking any college courses or anything what is the best way to meet new people without making yourself look bad.
How to meet people in new town?
Join a gym?
Volunteer work?
Join a church?
Say hello to someone buying the same stuff you are at the grocery store?
Introduce yourself to the neighbors?
Book club?
Go to the library?
Find the local cafe or bar?
Take an adult ed class?
Go on a nature walk/tour?
Answer classified ads?
Lie on the ground outside your house, then invite the paramedics in for tea?
ooops....I'm getting silly, time to get some rest.
